Trim, trim, charoo ...

All summer long I've been preparing for the long winter months of hibernation, lining my nest with rare & exotic threads Rumplestiltskin himself would have been proud of. Flax in to gold indeed, compared to this pile of sumptiousness, easy!

So roll on cosy nights spent curled up next to the radiator, how I wish a log fire was an option, with nothing in the larder except hot chocolate and turkish delight.

Bliss!

Ooooooh look at your lovely piles, there's some delicious looking fabrics there :-) Can't wait to see what you do with them.

Thanks Donna,
I must confess I have so many plans and yet so few if that makes sense.
My mind keeps darting to this project and that but in the end comes to a fall stop without ever writing a sentence if you get my drift.
Ho hum, I'm sure something will spring forth from the pile, eventually :D

I do know what you mean. Most of my best ideas seem to be in my head and stay there!

Oh my gosh, think I am totally jealous of your stash of lovely fabrics..and treasures. Where did you find all of that cute fabric? Seems I never find anything I really like at Hancock's and Jo Ann's... figures.

Hi Beth, check out www.reprodepotfabrics.com for some great fabrics, the pile on the far left all came from there, they also do some Japanese imports :D
Most of the others came direct from Japan but there are some totally gorgeous flea market fancy designs by Denyse Schmidt in there too, see far right as well as a smattering on the 2nd pile from the left.
Happy hunting and thanks for stopping by.

I love, love, love the trims especially! If they were mine I think I might just sit them somewhere looking pretty!

I, too, am jealous of your lovely fabric bits and notions...so pretty! I often visit repro-depot to drool, but I haven't bought anything yet. I really enjoy your blog, may I add you to my sidebar?

Where could I buy these fabrics?

Thanks
